Gingerbread Bliss Balls

MAKES 6-8 BALLS

  • Vegan

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1 cup almond meal

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 5 pitted medjool dates

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp almond butter 

METHOD

  1. Soak medjool dates in a small bowl of hot water whilst you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

  2. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor (including the dates and a small amount of the hot water) and blend until mixture is combined. If your mixture is too dry - add more hot water and if it is too wet add more oats or almond meal.

  3. Remove mixture from the blender and roll into balls.

  4. You can add some shredded coconut to the outside of these bliss balls or just leave them plain and store in the fridge.
